nolo contendere

definition of nolo contendere:

(from Latin. translates to "I am unwilling to contest it") no contest; an alternative to a guilty plea. A nolo contendere plea has the same effect as a guilty plea regarding criminal sentencing. It may not, however, be considered as an admission of guilt for any other purpose.
